WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING CHRIST?
"Jesus answered and said unto him, because I said unto thee under the fig tree, believest thou? Thou shall see greater things than these” (John 1:50)
This is a question that demands your answer. It is time to get real and practical. So, why are you following Christ?
Every individual who claims to love God, following Christ and goes to one Church or the does so for reasons well known to them, never be deceived.
Some follow Christ because of some of these reasons and more, which one is yours?
1) He is The Savior of the world
2) He can give solutions to their problems
3) They heard from other followers what He has being doing for them, not knowing the commitments those people have put in.
4) Some follow Him because that is what the society or their environment expects of them.
5) Some follow Him to get a great wife or husband
6) Some to get money and great connections.
7) Some follow Him because; it’s a tradition in their family to belong to a particular denomination in The Body of Christ.
8) Others follow Him because it is in vogue, prestigious and so, they need to belong.
9) Some follow Him because He is The Only Way to get to God.
10) Some fake following Him but in reality they are satanic agents sent to try and infiltrate The Body of Christ, pollute the true worshipers and turn them into “godly sinners” in the House of God
Why are you following Jesus our Christ? Are your reasons material minded, Kingdom of God minded, worldly minded or satanically influenced?
PRAYER SHOTS
1) Talk to God concerning your Christian life with today’s Scriptures.
2) Ask The Holy Spirit for a fresh visitation and for the strength to follow Christ on a daily basis.
3) Mighty God, revive me in the mist of “all these” (you can mention some of the things that are bothering you here). Give me the wisdom to achieve Your Will for my life, in Jesus Christ name.
