Daily Social Media Routine: Key to Success in 2023

Hey Party People... Sorry for being so quiet lately; I had to move unexpectedly, which was a little stressful. But I'm back, and my lack of activity on LinkedIn led me to today's article.

Why is it so simple to be inactive on here...

...

What's up, everybody? It's your boy Maik, and today we're talking about how easy it is to fall out of your routine when it comes to social media in your work life.

Look, I get it, social media can be overwhelming, and with so many platforms to choose from, it's easy to get lost in the noise. But let me tell you something, if you're not prioritizing social media in your daily routine, you're missing out on a massive opportunity for your business and yourself.

Here is the thing: in today's connected world, social media platforms are indispensable for connecting with and selling to target demographics. Getting to know your customers on a more personal level is essential if you want to build a loyal following, raise brand awareness, and make more money. But if you don't stick with your social media activities, you'll hurt yourself more than help.

So, why is it so easy to fall out of routine? Well, for starters, social media takes time and effort. It's not something you can set and forget. To optimize your strategy, you must make interesting content, share thought leadership stuff, interact with your audience frequently, and look at your metrics. But let me tell you something; it's worth it.

  • Let's use me as an example. During the first weeks of 2023, I posted every day and created this "by the way amazing newsletter," haha - and I was super active on my engagements. The result of this was a growth of over 700 new connections, over 1000 new followers, and 314 cool new friends who are following my blog on LinkedIn. By the way, thank you...

Another reason for falling out of routine is a lack of planning. Without a solid social media strategy in place, you're setting yourself up for failure. You need to have a clear plan outlining your goals, target audience, content strategy, and posting schedule. By doing this, you'll be able to stay on track and avoid getting sidetracked. I do it (for the most part) daily, for 30-45 minutes in the morning, with my coffee.

And lastly, social media burnout is a real thing. You can't go full throttle all the time. It's essential to take breaks and switch off to avoid burnout and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Trust me; it'll do wonders for your mental health and overall well-being.

But here's the thing, falling out of routine is not an option in 2023 and beyond. Social media is becoming increasingly important in the business world, and if you're not prioritizing it, you're missing out on a massive opportunity. By having a daily social media task routine, you can ensure that you're consistently creating and publishing engaging content, interacting with your audience, and analyzing your social media metrics to optimize your strategy.

Let's wrap this up... If you're not prioritizing social media in your daily routine, you're leaving money on the table. It's time to take control of your social media efforts, have a solid strategy in place, and prioritize it every day. Remember, consistency is key, and with the right approach, you can take your business to new heights.
