Your life is hectic, and resilience is no longer that trendy term you see in newsletter articles like these (chuckle). It is an essential skill that you need to hone.
Here at The BE School, my mission is to help you become what you ought to become, even before you do! In the BE School Newsletter, I share actionable tips for you to BE.
Over the years, I have felt that motivation is tricky. It may come and go. It fluctuates heavily depending on the seasons. But on the other hand, discipline and resilience can see you through thick and thin.
I want to share with you some personal?strategies that you can start using in your?daily life to enhance resilience and flourish both at home and at work.
So, here it is:
Start Your Day with Intention
What is that one thing I want to work on today? I ask myself each morning. You do not have to break your head. Just spend 5 minutes doing this as you wake up. Think of it as a reflection exercise.
Whether facing a project, aiming to enrich a relationship, or managing your emotional well-being, setting your intentions helps steer your day with clarity and determination.
Read Your No-Garbage List
I did not want to use this word, trust me. But, I did it anyway to drive how intensely I feel about this point.
You will encounter people and situations that drain your energy daily. Instead of ignoring that feeling, make a note somewhere. Call it the No-Garbage List.
Teach your brain to cut down situations and people who bog you down.?

Update this list regularly, and spend 2-2 minutes reviewing it and keeping it fresh.?
Foster Social Connections
Building resilience is also about nurturing supportive relationships. Make it a daily habit to connect with someone who lifts your spirits.
Whether a brief chat with a friend, engaging in community activities or collaborating on a work project, these connections offer emotional backing, practical assistance, and fresh viewpoints.?
Reflect and Adjust
It's not a one-day exercise.
End each day with a moment of reflection. Consider what went well and what could be improved. Think about how you can apply this knowledge moving forward.
This process of reflection not only encourages a growth mindset but allows you to adjust and respond more adeptly to future challenges.
These tips don't only build resilience; they lay the groundwork for a rewarding and accomplished life.
