Norwegian auction prices for headed and gutted (H&G) frozen cod and haddock have climbed once more in week 49 (Dec. 2-8), passing new milestones and thresholds with no sense yet that a new normal has been reached, according to the latest data from Norway's Norges Rafisklag auction.

  • Hard-to-find snow crab priced high for the holidays

Don't look now if you thought wholesale prices for snow crab (Chionoecetes opilio) were too high in April 2024 when they were up 19% from a year earlier. Now they're 40% higher than 12 months earlier, snow and king crab expert Les Hodges reports.
