Daily Recap April 2 2024

I've been asked why I haven't been writing articles much and my answer has been "nothing happening". Since my last article, nothing has happened. At least, nothing that makes a difference. I'm not trying to be cynical - I am cynical. Enough has not been happening to be of a monumental scale so I thought I'd take a stab at a more frequent effort.

Politics

What? Did Mayorkas get impeached? Yes. Will he lose his job? No. Nothing happening. Did Texas go too far by kicking the Border Patrol out and taking care of illegal aliens invading America? Nope. Lots of videos showing men dressed in fatigues and bulletproof vests being overrun by a bunch of Mexicans being allowed INTO America. Nothing new there. Netanyahu keeps giving Biden the finger. Biden's crew of High School Student Council dropouts keeps pushing the "save Palestine" line but to no avail. Thus making the Biden foreign policy fiasco unchanged along with sending $$$ to Ukraine for the Zelensky & Company payoff account. But Congress says "No dough for the little dictator" ... same old, same old. Oh yeah, Mexico wants $20 billion or they're going to keep letting Mexicans into America so they can send money back to Mexico. Makes sense ... to a moron.

Economics

Bidenomics is steaming right along with ongoing inflation, despite not being in a Recession. It sure feels like a Recession to me. How about you? And when it comes to the power of the American dollar, there are more and more countries joining the new economic engine backed by China and Russia. The dollar may still be King, but that could change. Especially if the United States gets involved in a war. We've pretty much borrowed all we can from China and I doubt they're going to extend additional credit to help America pay for a war against China ... or Russia. Nothing different here. Ever since Biden started spending money like it is water, the value of the US dollar has gone down, down, down. Bidenomics is such a disaster, except for rich folks. The top 1% increased their holdings by billions and billions. Biden's taxes don't scare them ... yet.

Legal

Trump continues to defend himself against frivolous and annoying lawsuits. The Democrats know if Trump gets in office, retribution will be the order of the day every day, despite his claims otherwise. Nothing is or will change on this front. Democrats are scrambling to figure out how to control Frankenstein's monster now that he is losing his mind. Dementia? Yup. Alzheimer's? Probably. And yet, without the ability to appear in court to defend himself against charges of espionage and corruption, he can still be President. Go figure. What I don't understand is why the legal eagles in Washington DC are still trying to prosecute Hunter Biden. Convicting Hunter of anything now will result in a pardon later on before Biden waddles out of the White House. Why aren't the Republicans putting Hunter on a back burner until after the election? That way, they can try, convict, and imprison the miscreant without the possibility of a pardon. And how the hell does a judge find one person in a two-person relationship guilty of misconduct but not the other person? Fani and her boyfriend have been making whoopee on the taxpayer's dime but only the man was found responsible. It's like finding two burglars in a bank vault but only arresting one. Misc.

Taylor Swift is a billionaire thanks to her promoter and manager. Talk about taking a ride. The bridge in Baltimore is reflective of life in Baltimore. No matter how much money gets poured into it, the place will still be the Haiti of the East Coast. P Diddy got caught in sex trafficking. The only problem is the women seem to have wanted to be slaves. It's the feds who are upset. Apparently, what's good for Hunter isn't good for P Diddy. Ironic. Hunter's attempt to have all the charges against him dismissed has been eviscerated. Apparently, the judge went looking for evidence to support Hunter's claims, but he couldn't find any. Hunter didn't like that. I'm crying my eyes out for Hunter.?
