The Daily Rambling Artist - My Own Cousin Oliver, I Mean Leo!

The Daily Rambling Artist - My Own Cousin Oliver, I Mean Leo!

Listening to a conversation that playfully referenced Cousin Oliver in relation to marketing and change brought back funny memories of the Brady Bunch. It got me thinking deeply about the conceptual parallels between introducing a new character to a show when things aren't working and adapting marketing strategies.

In the ever-evolving landscape of online art marketing, what used to be effective is constantly undergoing a shift. It's like the transformation witnessed when Rudy from the Cosby Show grew up and Raven Simone entered the scene. This past year, especially, has highlighted the need for a fresh perspective.

It's time to embrace the challenge and evolve creatively to stay relevant in this ever-changing digital space.

As an artist, I'm recognizing the necessity of finding my own "Cousin Oliver.” Although, I think I should probably be aiming for my "Leonardo DiCaprio on Growing Pains" moment more. Either way a strategic shift to keep up with the dynamic changes in the art market are always necessary.
