O’ Lord, Even though I [may] walk through the valley of the shadow of death [while on-duty], I will fear no evil, for You are with me.

[And because of that, I trust that] the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, in Jesus name, Amen

Ps. 23:4; 111:10

Lord, [strengthen me today to] watch and pray so that [I] may not enter into temptation [because I know my] spirit is willing, but [my] flesh is weak.

[I will] submit [myself] therefore to [You in order to] resist the devil [so that] he will flee, in Jesus name, Amen

Mk. 14:38; Ja. 4:7
