Today we’d like to introduce you to David Obadimeji.
David, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria. I came to the United States in 2010, and shortly after my arrival, I started working for the Marriott hotel as a lead cook and quickly worked my way up by learning the different techniques and by following the executive chef leadership. From an early age, I realize that I have a passion for cooking. I had the opportunity to learn and work with my grandparents in a family own catering business. My inspiration is the love that I have for food. I have more than 20 years’ worth of experience in the culinary field that focus on healthy cuisines. My personal commitment to my business and clients is to continue to learn and study about the relationship between food, health, and nutrition.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey has not been easy, but I honestly wouldn’t change a thing
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I love food. I have over 20 years’ worth of experience in the culinary field. I focus on healthy cuisine and fresh ingredients. I’m bringing all of the finest ingredients locally and from a collection of vendors. I love to cook seafood – Wild Catch Alaska Sockeye Salmon&Halibut, Swordfish, Grouper, Red/Yellow Snapper, Pompano, Lobster, Soft Blue Crab, Branzino and many more, etc. As time goes by, I will be delighted.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Definitely, I will be opening my fine Dining restaurant by then.
