Daily habits jeopardizing your well-being as a high-achiever, (fem) entrepreneur or leader

Unlocking your full potential doesn't involve burning out or neglecting yourself.

Read that again.

Today's high-achievers, (fem) entrepreneurs, and leaders often prioritize their jobs over self-care, paving the way for burnout. It's no surprise that burnout has become a widespread issue, given the neglect of personal well-being. Often unintentional or due to a lack of awareness about the right steps to take.

Over the next few months, I'll delve into the concept of holistic well-being, as I believe that your well-being is at the core of lasting success.

In this article, let's shine a light on the daily work habits that silently undermine your well-being and health.


Is this you?

1. You're Always "on"

You are always “available”, because...

  • somehow you feel the need (might even be pressure) that you must check your email inbox from 7:30 am until 9 pm.
  • you find it difficult to say no to a to-do/request/opportunity, also when it interferes with your personal time.
  • you don’t see the need how active resting could enhance your success.

Here's my honest opinion: You're always on because you forgot to prioritize yourself

2. You Survive on Caffeine

You survive on caffeine, because..

  • you didn’t have a good night's sleep for the last, well.. you can’t even remember when you didn’t wake up between 1 am - 3 am.
  • without it, the brain fog takes over and you need to concentrate.
  • you didn’t eat enough protein or healthy fats.

Here's my honest opinion: You survive on caffeine because your stress levels are peaking

3. You've Accepted Your (Hormonal/Health) Symptoms

You accepted hormonal symptoms, therefore...

  • it’s okay to deal with painful heavy period bleeds that prevent you from working on your business
  • it’s fine to experience PMS about 2 weeks per month that will interfere with your client contact
  • who cares about that painful belly and the constant constipation/diarrhea

Here's my honest opinion: You've accepted your hormonal/health symptoms, therefore you're only capable of working at 60% capacity of the real you

4. You Missed Lunch Because You Had To Be In That Meeting

You missed lunch due to an important meeting, and now...

  • you need more caffeine to pull you through the rest of the day
  • you feel more irritated and find it hard to concentrate
  • you crave sugars and can’t stop yourself from eating chocolate bars and crackers

Here's my honest opinion: You missed lunch due to another "important" meeting and now you've added physical stress to your body to your already stressed mind


Does any of these situations ring a bell for you? Most of it happens without actual intention, it just - well - happens. But over time, you'll start to feel more exhausted, crave more, gain more of that extra belly fat, have insomnia, lower libido, have fertility issues, feel that PMS worsening and the list of health symptoms continues.

The hormonal and/or health issues happened because you didn't take proper care of yourself: wrong lifestyle, nutrition, mental, emotional, and/or physical well-being.

Luckily, these health complaints can be reversed. Putting yourself and your holistic well-being first, before you agree to any other contract, may it be work or a relationship.

This one-hour session is designed to set the tone for your month, ensuring you step into each day with a sense of flow, balance, and direction.
