?? GPT-4o and more tools to ChatGPT free users

Introducing GPT-4o: OpenAI 's GPT-4o offers GPT-4-level intelligence, but is much faster and improves on its capabilities across text, voice, and vision. Future updates will include real-time voice and video interactions, with an alpha launch of Voice Mode for Plus users in a few weeks. GPT-4o supports over 50 languages and is being rolled out to ChatGPT Plus, Team, and Enterprise users, with usage limits for Free users.

Free Advanced Tools: Advanced AI tools will be available for free users, including:

• GPT-4 level intelligence
• Responses from the model and the web
• Data analysis and chart creation
• Photo discussions
• File uploads for summarization, writing, or analysis
• Access to GPTs and the GPT Store
• Enhanced experience with Memory

There will be message limits for free users, switching to GPT-3.5 once limits are reached.

New Desktop App: A new ChatGPT desktop app for macOS is launching, integrating seamlessly into the user's workflow with features like instant questions, screenshot discussions, and voice conversations. The macOS app is rolling out to Plus users, with a Windows version planned for later this year.

Simplified Interface: ChatGPT is introducing a new, friendlier, and more conversational look with an updated home screen and message layout.

• Introduced Gemini 1.5 Flash: a lighter-weight model that’s designed to be fast and efficient to serve at scale. 1.5 Flash is the fastest Gemini model served in the API. Available in public preview with a 1 million token context window
• Shared Project Astra: their vision for the future of AI assistants.
• Announced Veo, Google's most capable video generation model yet. It generates high-quality 1080p resolution videos that can go beyond a minute, in a wide range of cinematic and visual styles.

With Anthropic you can now generate production-ready prompts in the Console.

Describe what you want to achieve, and Claude will use prompt engineering techniques like chain-of-thought reasoning to create more effective, precise and reliable prompts.

What happens in a world of infinite labor, infinite content, and mass personalization

• if you could predict cars, you could have predicted gas stations. But not LA and not Walmart
