DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY TUESDAY NOVEMBER 19, 2024.

1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG

Topic: Drawing Miracles

Text: Mark 9:23, Mark 5:21-34

Food for thought: Do you have the kind of faith that draws miracles from God?

Lesson: If you have faith, you can get your miracle at any time. Even if a minister of God does not mention your case or lay hands on you during a ministration, you can get a miracle from God through him. You don’t have to wait for a minister of God to pray for you. You can get a miracle through him or her with your faith.

2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM

Topic: Don’t Sacrifice Fellowship In Court

Text : 1 Corinthians 6:1–7

Food for thought: litigation degrades the Christian spirit of fellowship.

Lesson: When believers drag other brothers before the worldly courts, it demeans Christianity and makes a mockery of our teachings of peace, forbearance, love, and unity. We must love and forgive one another. We should also follow the biblical principle for resolving differences. There is no joy in winning a lawsuit against another brother or sister and losing the love and joy in fellowship.

3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy

Topic: The Pride Of The Ages

Text: Isaiah 60:15, Psalm 135:4; 1Peter 2:9

Food for thought: God’s plan transforms you into the pride and joy of generations.

Lesson: When you follow God, He works in you to make you everything He has planned. He declares that you are the pride of the ages and the joy of many generations. By believing His words and declaring them over your life, you live as He has purposed.

4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM

Topic: Patriotism And Empathy For Your Nation

Text : Nehemiah 1:2-4, Hebrew 13: 3

Food for thought: Those who genuinely love their country will genuinely intercede for its wellbeing.

Lesson: Patriotism and true empathy towards our nation are godly virtues that heaven rewards. You are called to care deeply about the struggles of your nation, even if you live in comfort elsewhere. Instead of merely discussing problems, you should pray, fast, and seek God’s intervention for the redemption of your nation. Spiritual action must precede any physical rebuilding of the broken areas in society.

5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM

Topic: You Belong To The Family Of Winners

Text : 1 John 5:4, Psalms 24:1-2; 1 John 5:4-13

Food for thought: Being part of God’s family makes you a winner over life’s challenges.

Lesson: When you are born of God, you belong to a family of winners because your Father never loses. Whatever issues run in the world or other families do not define you because you are part of God’s family. When you face needs or challenges, talk to your Father, knowing Jesus has already settled it on the cross.

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny, DIGC

Topic: Godly Character-A Door Opener

Text: Genesis 24:46.

Food for thought: Your character determines your opportunities and favours in life.

Lesson: Godly character is a key to unlocking opportunities and blessings. When we display kindness and integrity, we attract favour. Our character shapes how God answers our prayers and opens doors for us. By all means, avoid the negative character. Maintain Godly character at all times and in all situations to have speedy answers to your prayers.

7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM

Topic: I Refuse To Be A Passerby!

Text: Mark 15:24-38

Food for thought: Being a passive observer in life leads to missed opportunities and unfulfilled potential.

Lesson: You must not let life and destiny pass you by while you remain a bystander. When you encounter opportunities, solutions, or even Jesus, you need to actively engage instead of just watching. Refuse to be a passerby in churches or in life, so success and purpose do not slip away from you.

8. C.A.C: The Living Water

Topic: Men Of Loyalty

Text: 2 Samuel 23:13-17, Mark 2:3-4

Food for thought: How often do you invest in your inner circle? To what extent are you willing to go for a leader whose course is just?

Lesson: True loyalty is built through love, sacrifice, and commitment to just causes. Loyalty grows when we invest time, care, and effort in the people around us. Just as David’s mighty men risked their lives to fulfill his longing, we are called to stand by leaders and friends whose causes are right. Loyalty is not about words but about actions that show dedication and trustworthiness.

9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion

Topic: The Spirit Of The Holy God Is In You

Text: Daniel 4: 4-18

Food for thought: The Spirit of God in you empowers you to do great things for His glory.

Lesson: When you rely on God, He uses you to solve problems others cannot. To carry the Spirit of God effectively, you must live a holy and prayerful life, free from distractions and pride. The miracles you manifest through the Spirit testify to God’s kingdom and draw others to Him.

10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union

Topic: Delayed But Not Withheld.

Text: Dan 10 V 1 - 11 V 1.

Food for thought: Though your blessings may be delayed, they are not withheld and coming to you in God's perfect timing.

Lesson: Your prayers and blessings may seem delayed, but they are not denied. Continue to pray and trust God, even when obstacles arise. God will remove any barrier blocking your progress and deliver your blessings in His time.
