1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG .
Topic: Sufferings For Christ
Text: Philippians 1:29, 1 Peter 4:12-19
Food for thought: Your destiny depends on the answer to this question: are you ready to suffer for Christ?
Lesson: Jesus Christ said that when we come to Him, He will take our heavy yokes from us, but He will give us His own yoke, which is lighter, to carry. If you will truly follow Christ, you must be ready to suffer for His sake. The reason many people fall when temptations come is that they were not prepared to suffer for Christ. Those that do not faint in the day of adversity always enjoy great benefits when the adversity is over.
2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM
Topic: Matter Of The Heart
Text : Mark 7:14-23, Mark 7:20
Food for thought :. The heart of the matter is a matter of the heart.
Lesson: The condition of a man’s heart certainly determines how acceptable his person or service would be to God. Without conversion and corresponding inner purity, renders our services unacceptable before God. God is ever willing to transform the hearts of all who are eager. Come to Him humbly and acknowledge your state; believe that the sacrifice of Jesus is sufficient for your cleansing; pray in faith and He will cleanse you and make you whiter than snow.
3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy
Topic: We Have Received A Kingdom
Text: Luke 22:29, Luke 12:32, Colossians 1:13
Food for thought: While you’re in this world, you actually belong in another operational world; so, you’re living in two worlds at the same time, but you belong only to one of them, which is the Kingdom of God.
Lesson: You’re the voice, the expression and the messenger of God’s Kingdom to the world. You’re to let the world know of the reality of the Kingdom and get them to become a part of God’s Kingdom; you’re the one with the keys to bring them in.
4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM
Topic: The New Life
Text: Colossians 1:13, Galatians 2:18-20
Food for thought : You must cling to Jesus and put to death your old ways of life, if you desire a new life.
Lesson: When a man is in Christ Jesus, he becomes a new creature, delivered, cleansed and redeemed. As a result, old things are gone, and all things become new. This is the New Life! No man can boast of living this new life by himself or herself. It is Christ in us, the Hope of glory. To obtain and enjoy these privileges, you must die to self, the world and to sin! Beloved, you start by giving your life to Christ and then living completely for Him.
5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM
Topic: This Is Your Finest Hour
Text : Haggai 2:9, Haggai 2:6-9
Food for thought: Be a student of the Bible so that you will be properly guided.
Lesson: Child of God, this is a season of new things and greater glory for you. What hitherto took you ten years to achieve will come easy for you if you can follow the Lord with all your heart and strength. Take a quality decision today to serve the Lord fervently. Diligently take heed to the word of God. Let the Word of God be the final arbiter on all matters.
6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC
Topic: God's Presence And Destiny Fulfilment
Text: Genesis 39:2
Food for thought: The force of Divine Presence is one force that is responsible for the fulfillment of destiny.
Lesson: When you are clothed with Divine Presence, People are reminded about God when they encounter you. The Presence of God is the fragrance of favour. The Presence of God triggers the release of potentials. The Presence of God is key to open doors and access to power. Make up your mind to be a carrier of the Presence of God. Maintain a lifestyle of holiness to see God in your life. Give yourself to consistent prayer and study of the Word to attract God's Presence to you.
7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM
Topic: The Walls Are Coming Down!
Text: Joshua 6: 1 – 10
Food for thought: Barriers can be overcome through faith and action.
Lesson: We have a share of God’s blessings and riches, but often these are blocked by unseen forces. These powers keep many in a cycle of lack and sorrow, just like the walls of Jericho once barred entry. Despite its formidable defenses, The Israelites obeyed/followed God’s battle strategy, and the walls of Jericho sank into the ground. I declare over you right now, that every wall of Jericho that has been standing between you and your inheritance will sink into the ground today in Jesus' name.
8. C.A.C: The Living Water
Topic: Be Straightforward (II)
Text: John 1:47, Galatians 2:11-21
Food for thought: Being straightforward is a good and godly trait that includes honesty, sincerity, obedience, truthfulness, faithfulness, uprightness, goodness, and more.
Lesson: We need to be honest when sharing the Gospel. A straightforward person is someone who is direct and deals with things as they are, without distorting the truth to get his way. Ask a straightforward eyewitness if you want to know the truth about something. He/She cannot be easily influenced to twist the facts. We should be honest and concise, as God desires.
9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion
Topic: Born To Reign!
Text: Genesis 1: 24-31
Food for thought: Man was created to exercise dominion over other creatures.
Lesson: Child of God, you have been given the power, authority, and dominion to rule and put all situations in your life under the control of your heavenly Father. You have been empowered to trample on snakes and scorpions and all the powers of the enemy. Whatever your situation, do not be afraid. Do not negotiate with the enemy; go ahead and exercise your dominion over him. You were born into God's family to reign!
10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union
Topic: Guilt offering!
Text: Leviticus 7:1-27
Food for thought: God regards the guilt offering as "most holy," requiring us to approach it with utmost reverence and care.
Lesson: The priest's actions are crucial in ensuring that our offerings are accepted by God, highlighting the importance of obedience and responsibility. As we approach the Lord's table in Holy Communion, we must do so with discernment and purity, recognizing the sacredness of the act and adhering to God's instructions.
