DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY THURSDAY JUNE 20, 2024.
AGWOR EMMANUELLA??MSc. Bsc.
Project/Procurement manager; Finance consultant; Administrative Executive Assistant; Graphics designs; Employment relationship Advocate.
1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG
Topic: Nothing Is Hidden
Text: Hebrews 4:13, Joshua 7:1-22
Food for thought: The fact that sin is hidden does not mean that its consequences are also hidden. The word of God is clear, whatsoever you sow, you will reap.
Lesson: God knows the secret sins that individuals might have, and if they refuse to confess and repent of them, He can decide to reveal them in such a way that they will be disgraced. If you have secret sins, you have a choice today to either continue in them and suffer their consequences or confess and forsake them so you can have God’s mercy. Choose wisely.
2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM
Topic: Pure Wisdom
Text : James 3:14-18, James 3:17
Food for thought :. True wisdom is rooted in the fear of God.
Lesson: Motive is the dividing line between heavenly and earthly wisdom. Earthly wisdom has the vile motives of advantage and domination. Conversely, heavenly wisdom is driven by pure motives because it flows from God and is focused on His glory. Divine wisdom is a product of faith. You can possess this wisdom if you seek it diligently in prayer.
3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy
Topic: Beyond An Experience
Text : John 3:3, 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 2:2, Romans 6:4
Food for thought: Being born again is that you were dead but have come alive; you’re alive now; you don’t have a past.
Lesson: Being born again is not an experience, it’s beyond these outward expressions. When you’re born again, you don’t essentially “experience” a thing; rather, “you” are the experience; you happened. You came to be, as it were.
4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM
Topic: The Secrets Of Church Growth (2)
Text : Acts 4:1-13, Acts 4:4
Food for thought: The fullness of God in the believer’s life is one of the secrets of church growth.
Lesson: Avoid seeking growth through worldly means like visiting occultist places, as they lead to pitfalls. Instead, cultivate patience by waiting on God faithfully. Knowing your God deeply, seeking Him diligently, and nurturing spiritual disciplines like fasting and prayer ignite the growth you seek. Commitment to holiness ensures uninterrupted growth in both life and ministry; embracing these principles will foster church growth.
5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM
Topic: Jesus Is The Good Shepherd
Text : Psalm 23:1, Psalm 23; Luke 12: 27-30
Food for thought: If God says He can take care of the lilies of the valley and the birds of the air, He surely can take care of you.
Lesson: The greatest honour you can do to God is to receive what He has provided through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just receive! Don't try to understand it. Stop fretting! The good Shepherd has perfected your redemption. Rest in what has been perfected on your behalf.
6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC
Topic: The Power Of Divine Direction
Text: Genesis 12:1.
Food for thought: The Voice of Divine Direction is the secret of acceleration and distinction in life.
Lesson: The Voice of God is the voice of direction. Access to the Voice of God is access to Divine Direction. The Voice of God averts disaster. Divine Direction prevents destruction. The voice of the LORD is powerful and full of majesty. The voice of God powers potentials unto manifestation and propels destiny unto fulfillment. Beloved, be determined to desperately covet the Voice of God so your life can be divinely directed, and your destiny powered unto fulfilment. Give yourself consistently to prayer and the study of the Word.
7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM
Topic: Bite Your Tongue!
Text: James 3: 6 – 12
Food for thought: Who cares for your beauty if your tongue is ugly? Positive speech aligned with faith brings divine favor.
Lesson: If you are always talking negatively, you are separating yourself from the rain of God’s blessings. In facing challenges, your speech profoundly influences your progress. Your spiritual language, not just spoken words, determines whether you attract positive outcomes or perpetuate negativity. Just as a spring cannot produce both sweet and bitter water, your words shape your experiences.. Guard your tongue diligently, as it directs the course of your life; speak positivity to align yourself with God's blessings and avoid self-sabotage.

Topic: Broken Purpose
Text: Job 17:11, Job 17:11-12
Food for thought: When your purpose is rooted in God, it can never be broken because God is always in control. There will be a glimmer of hope in the darkest times
Lesson: In this world, God determines our destinies and purposes according to His divine plan, defining who we are at our core. Despite overwhelming challenges, staying rooted in God ensures your purpose remains unbroken. Aligning yourself with God's will safeguards your purpose, offering hope and resilience even in the darkest times.
9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion
Topic: Stand Out!
Text: Genesis 6: 8-22
Food for thought: In today's corrupt world, characterized by increasing ungodliness and immorality, it's vital to stand out by maintaining righteousness and godly living like Noah did.
Lesson: In today's society, acts of ungodliness and immorality are increasing. We must be careful how we walk and live our lives because the standards of God cannot be lowered. Let your life reflect a commitment to righteousness. Seek to honor God in all things.
10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union
Topic: Be Firm Against Misbehaving Believers!
Text: 2 Corinthians 12.14-21
Food for thought: Speak the truth boldly but with divine love to ensure it ministers grace to your hearers.
Lesson: In dealing with misbehaving believers, remain steadfast in upholding truth and righteousness within your local church community. Avoid being swayed by doctrines or compromising situations, but speak the truth with love and humility, as this fosters unity and spiritual growth. Let your actions and words reflect God's standards. Ensure they minister grace and strengthen the faith of others, even amidst challenges.
