1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG
Topic: Prophesy With Wisdom (1)
Text : Proverbs 12:4, Proverbs 17:27-28
Food for thought: Not everything God tells you is for public consumption.
Lesson: The gift of prophecy requires wisdom, as mishandling it can cause harm and disrupt God's purpose. Handle prophecies with care and avoid sharing them publicly unless God directs you to do so, especially when the message involves sensitive matters about others. Beloved, be slow to speak. Ask God for wisdom on how to handle the things that He reveals to you.
2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM
Topic: Victory Through The Cross
Text: Colossians 2:13, Colossians 2:12-23
Food for thought: The cross provides comprehensive redemption for all.
Lesson: The cross, once a symbol of horror and curse, is now the source of victory and redemption for believers. Through the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven, and eternal salvation is made possible. When you believe in the power of the cross, you receive healing, peace, and the unsearchable riches of Christ.
3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy
Topic: Jesus-the Profile Of The Father
Text: Colossians 1:15, John 1:18; John 14:9-10; Hebrews 1:3
Food for thought: Jesus is the exact representation and visible profile of the invisible God, showing His nature and character.
Lesson: When you see Jesus, you see the Father, because Jesus displays God's divine essence and character. His works and words are proof of His oneness with the Father.
4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM
Topic: Your Personal Esau
Text: Luke 14:26, Genesis 25:22-26
Food for thought: God says what He means, and He means what He says. When He says it. That settles it.
Lesson: A personal Esau represents the hidden battles and family contentions that can hinder your destiny. Your most stubborn battles often originate from within your family, just as Jacob and Esau’s struggle began in the womb. You need to confront these hidden challenges with prayer and godly wisdom to ensure they do not derail your purpose.
5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM
Topic: You Are Complete In Christ
Text : Colossians 2:9-10, Luke 15: 11-24; Colossians 2: 1-10
Food for thought: In Christ, you are made complete, lacking nothing, and equipped for victory in every aspect of life.
Lesson: You are connected to Christ, and His fullness flows through you, so do not accept the lies of the enemy about your worth or capability. Stir yourself daily, remember your divine inheritance, and claim the total victory and sound mind that God has given you.
6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC
Topic: The Implication Of Thanksgiving
Text: Psalms 29:2
Food for thought: A thanksgiving does not only give God praises and worship from his lips, he also gives God his substances.
Lesson: Thanksgiving implies generosity and goodness. You cannot be a good person if you don’t know how to give thanks; ingratitude is a characteristic of bad people. Thanksgiving glorifies God and acknowledges His goodness. It invites God's presence and blessings. Make up your mind to always give God quality thanksgiving, including your substances.
7. Bishop Dr Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM
Topic: Stop Playing God - 2
Text: Isaiah 64: 8; Jeremiah 18: 1-8
Food for thought: When you deny your humanity and act as though you are without flaws or limits, you rob God of His glory.
Lesson: You are dust! You are feeble and fragile! You are clay, and Jehovah is the only Potter among many clay vessels! Stop trying to be the Potter! Your humanity isn’t something to hide or be ashamed of. Instead, celebrate the power of God, who is molding you into who you must be! You are human! Thank God for that!
8. C.A.C: The Living Water
Topic: Know Your Real Enemy
Text: 1 John 4:4, 1 Peter 5: 8, 9
Food for thought: Knowing your real enemy, the devil, is crucial for living a victorious life.
Lesson: The devil works tirelessly, using deception and manipulation to turn your thoughts against you and lead you astray. By staying vigilant, guarding your mind, and leaning on God’s truth, you protect yourself from his subtle tactics and walk firmly in faith.
9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion
Topic: Praising God For What He Does
Text: Psalm 146: 1-10
Food for thought: Even when it feels like there is nothing to be grateful for, simply being alive is enough reason to praise God
Lesson: Praising God for His greatness and graciousness is essential, as His deeds are countless and awe-inspiring. Praising God for His myriad actions, from creation to justice and mercy, helps us acknowledge His greatness. We should praise God for what He does and who He is: a great and mighty God.
10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union
Topic: Jesus, Our All Sufficient Advocate.
Text: 1 John 2: 1–11.
Food for thought: Jesus Christ, our all-sufficient advocate, presents His blood to God as atonement for our sins, ensuring our acquittal.
Lesson: When we sin, we must confess our faults to God, and Jesus, as our advocate, defends us in God's court. The virtues we add to our faith, such as knowledge, self-control, and love, help us remain in the light and avoid returning to darkness.
