DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY SATURDAY JUNE 29, 2024.

Project/Procurement manager; Finance consultant; Administrative Executive Assistant; Graphics designs; Employment relationship Advocate.
1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG
Topic: Who Do People Say You Are?
Text: Matthew 16:13, Matthew 16:13-16
Food for thought: People will only relate with you based on what they think about you and not what you think about yourself.
Lesson: In evaluating who people say we are, we must pay attention to perceptions both outside and within our inner circle. Those closest to us, like family members, see our true selves and their opinions can profoundly impact how we are perceived. Look for people within your inner circle who will not lie to you. Let them tell you their perception of you.
2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM
Topic: Don’t Miss Your Chance
Text : Numbers 10:29-32, Numbers 10:29
Food for thought :. If heaven is your destination, invite others.
Lesson: For believers in Christ, if we have truly tasted the goodness and grace of God and are conscious of the blessed hope ahead, the love for our fellow travelers in life should move us to compel them to come with us. They may put up some resistance, but we should not give up on them to bring them to the Saviour.
3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy
Topic: Distinct Purposes Of The Five-fold Ministry Gifts
Text : Ephesians 4:11-12, Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Corinthians 14:12
Food for thought: We are equipped, edified, and built up in the Body of Christ through the ministry gifts.
Lesson: We note the distinct purposes of the five-fold ministry gifts: perfecting the saints, performing the work of the ministry, and edifying the body of Christ. It's crucial to understand that these roles are separate and not a single unified purpose. The five-fold ministry is responsible for these functions, which collectively contribute to the growth and strengthening of the Church.
4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM
Topic: How Deliverance Can Fail.
Text: Mark 9:28-29, Mark 9:29.
Food for thought: Slaves who love their chains shall remain in bondage.
Lesson: We must recognize that deliverance requires a commitment to the process, starting with believing in God and confessing our sins. If we live in sin, hold onto ungodly materials, or lack faith, deliverance will not succeed. Making Jesus the Lord of every aspect of our lives is essential for true deliverance and freedom.
5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM
Topic: Cease From Your Works
Text: Hebrews 4:10, Psalm 127: 1-2; Jeremiah 17:5-8
Food for thought: Use the rest you have received in Christ to subdue the stress in the world.
Lesson: We need to stop stressing ourselves and trust in God's promises, knowing there is a place of rest for us. It's crucial to let go of our own efforts and anxieties, resting in the finished work of Christ. By relying on God instead of our own strength, we find true rest and peace.
6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC
Topic: No More Delay
Text: John 3:8.
Food for thought: You don't belong to the generation of the stagnated; delay is not a part of your life.
Lesson: Beloved, as a born-again child of God, you are supposed to operate like the wind. You don't belong to the generation of the stagnated; delay is not a part of your life. Refuse to accept the lifestyle of stagnation and delay. Ask God for unusual speed in every aspect of your life – academic pursuit, career, business, marriage, ministry, etc.
7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM
Topic: In Every Hosanna, There Is “Crucify Him
Text : Matthew 21:1-11; Luke 23:13-21
Food for thought: It is those who often sing your praise that will be the first to condemn you or cast stones at you.
Lesson: You must learn to manage fame and the praises of men as you go out daily or as you work for God! The worst mistake anyone can make would be to trust in the praises and affirmation of men. People can be unreliable and deceptive. The same people that shouted “HOSANNA to the Son of David,” echoed “CRUCIFY HIM, CRUCIFY HIM! As you navigate through life, beware of praise singers. In every “Hosanna”, there is “Crucify Him, Crucify Him.” Be wise!

8. C.A.C: The Living Water
Topic: Less Talk, Less Trouble!
Text: Proverbs 10:19, 2 Samuel 1:1-16
Food for thought: Someone with ample knowledge often speaks sparingly and maintains composure.
Lesson: The wise measure their words and turn off the flow. Those who control their tongue will have a long life: Even individuals who might appear foolish are deemed wise when they choose silence, demonstrating their wisdom.
9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion
Topic: Who Is Jesus Christ To You?
Text: Matthew 16: 13-20,
Food for thought: Each person must answer the question of who Jesus Christ is.
Lesson: Today, there are different views of who Jesus is. To some, He is not more than the Provider or Supplier of all their needs; some hold the view that He is their Deliverer from the powers of their oppressors, etc. However, knowing Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour from sin is very crucial. He is the Giver of the life of God which was lost in the Garden at Eden. Without this knowledge, every other knowledge is vain.
10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union
Topic: Expose Sin Before It Spreads.
Text: Lev 14: 33 - 57.
Food for thought: Just as mildew in a house needs to be addressed promptly to avoid destruction, sin in our lives must be exposed and dealt with before it corrupts us further.
Lesson: We must confess and forsake our sins to receive mercy and prevent them from spreading and causing greater harm. By seeking help from the right sources and confessing to God, we maintain the purity of our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit and prevent sin from affecting others.
