DAILY DEVOTIONALS SUMMARY FRIDAY NOVEMBER 15, 2024.

1. Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Open Heavens, RCCG

Topic: The Bible, Gender, And Sexuality (2)

Text: Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 18:22-30

Food for thought: The Bible teaches that homosexuality is an abomination, and those who engage in it face consequences unless they repent.

Lesson: Homosexuality is not part of God's original design and leads to spiritual destruction. Societies that normalize such behaviour face judgment, as seen in the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. We must avoid these ideologies, pray for those trapped in them, and seek deliverance from the devil's manipulation.

2. Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, Daily Manna, DCLM

Topic: What Do You Know About Jesus?

Text: John 5:39, John 5:39-47

Food for thought: The knowledge of Christ sets a person free from bondage.

Lesson: The depth of your knowledge about Jesus shapes your relationship with Him and your spiritual growth. The Scriptures point to Him, and your belief in them opens the door to transformation. Disregarding God's word and seeking the approval of men only leads to spiritual blindness.

3. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Rhapsody Of Realities, Christ Embassy

Topic: Milk, Meat, And Strong Meat

Text: Hebrews 5:13- 14, 1 Corinthians 3:1-2; Ephesians 4:14-15; Hebrews 6:1-2

Food for thought: Growing spiritually requires moving from the basics of faith to a deeper understanding of God’s Word.

Lesson: You start your spiritual journey with the “milk” of basic teachings, but it’s essential to grow beyond this. As you mature, seek out the “meat” of God’s Word, advancing to deeper truths. Prioritizing your spiritual growth will help you grow into the maturity God desires.

4. Dr D.K. Olukoya, Mountain Top Daily Devotional, MFM

Topic: The Eyes Of Your Understanding

Text: Ephesians 1:18, Luke 18: 35-43

Food for thought: Blessed are your eyes for what they see.

Lesson: The "eyes of your understanding" are essential to gaining insight and wisdom that lead to greater success in life. You move forward in life not by physical sight alone but by the depth of insight your inner eyes provide. When your inner eyes are open, you gain knowledge that can’t be seen with physical eyes. Seek to deepen this understanding to experience God’s calling fully and reach your highest potential.

5. Bishop Dr Mike Okonkwo, Wisdom For The Day, TREM

Topic: Nothing Is Impossible With God

Text: Luke 1:37, Genesis 21:1-7; Psalms 113:1-1-9.

Food for thought: Trusting fully in God's power means believing that nothing is impossible for Him, even when circumstances seem hopeless.

Lesson: You need to stand firm in your faith, even when others doubt. When you rely on God, He will turn impossibilities into realities. Keep your faith strong, He will come through in His perfect timing.

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, Seeds Of Destiny DIGC

Topic: The Secret of Solomon

Text: 1 Kings 10:23

Food for thought: Your wisdom is the secret of your wealth; people will pay you for what you know that they don't know.

Lesson: Solomon’s wisdom, granted by God, became the foundation of his wealth and influence. Wisdom is the key to success and prosperity, and people value knowledge that they lack. Like Solomon, ask God for wisdom. Deploy your wisdom towards the betterment of mankind and the advancement of God's kingdom. Ensure there is an area of wisdom or knowledge you possess that people also pay you for.

7. Bishop Dr. Chris Kwakpovwe, Our Daily Manna, MPM

Topic: Trust In Men Is Digging Your Grave! - 2

Text: Jeremiah 29: 11; Psalm 9: 1-10

Food for thought: Trusting in God’s plans brings lasting hope and fruitfulness, even in difficult times but trusting in men leads to utter disappointment..

Lesson: You need to trust in God’s wisdom, He knows what is best for your life. GOD KNOWS YOUR TOMORROW! In these difficult and uncertain times, do well to put your trust in God and His Word; that is where your help lies. Those who place their trust in God are like trees planted by the waters. Even in drought, they will not cease to bear fruit.

8. C.A.C: The Living Water

Topic: Resist The Devil (1)

Text: James 4:7, 1 Corint.10:1-6

Food for thought :

Lesson: As believers, we must put up a strong defense to resist the attacks of the devil on our faith. When the devil attacks your faith, you must stand firm and resist him, using God’s Word as your weapon. Know and apply specific Scriptures to each situation, as Jesus did in His temptations. Strengthen your defense further through persistent prayer to dismantle any spiritual barriers the devil tries to set up in your life.

9. The Daily Fountain. Anglican Communion

Topic: Fighting Against God

Text: Daniel 3: 19-25

Food for thought: "Who can battle with the Lord(3x), says nobody; It is fruitless to challenge God.

Lesson: Beloved, honour God and never use your position to suppress or deal with defenseless people who cross your paths. God always fights for His people and all who trust in Him. As he defended Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, He will defend you. No matter man's threats, God will always come to your rescue as long as you are on the right track. Do not be afraid.

10 Daily Guide, Scripture Union

Topic: The Rise And Fall Of Gentile Powers

Text : Daniel8: 1-14

Food for thought: Earthly powers rise and fall, but the kingdom of Jesus endures forever.

Lesson: No matter how strong any kingdom or ruler may seem, their power is temporary and limited. We should stay true to our faith, trusting in God’s ultimate plan for restoration and His unchanging rule.
