Dagens hj?ltar - Heroes of the day

On 9th November, Stockholm was "bombed" by the most furious "snow cannon phenomenon" of the last 111 years. At M?lar? Islands where we have the responsibility for the maintenance and snow cleaning of the state road network, we achieved, despite the extraordinary weather, to deliver a great result with good friction and snow free road surfaces, bus connection back in order early during the same day and to get a "golden star" from our customer, the Swedish Transport Administration.

This, thanks to people like our plow truck driver Anders Bergman, (interviewed here by the local M?lar? Newspaper) and a very effective co-operation with our subcontractors.

The winter is at the beginning and after a hard week we need to regain power into a season that has been prognosticated as more than just intensive.
