The God we have never seen; the God we have restricted with our religious groupism; the God who never defined for anyone the codes of conduct; and the God we always turn to, praying for mercy...safety...strength...progress...! The God, in the name of which we initiate gruesome power games. And the God who perhaps lie helpless in temples, churches, mosques, gurudwaras... as his truth gets enveloped with obscenities! If at all there is a God somewhere, in any of those religious buildings or beyond them, I wonder whether he is happy today that his men "protected" a faith by assuming beef consumption? Or he felt shaken as he was killed too along with his follower? Neighbours, who once came over to feast during festivals, suddenly become Hindus and Muslims????

For the last few days I had been waiting for the government to speak up; to take charge. Yes, the act could happen because blue blooded RSS is in power. Those miscreants have believed that they can get away with a red tika on the forehead and have trusted that political offices would take this easy!!! Speak up, Mr. Prime Minister and team...your silence at this hour is worse than that of Dr. Manmohan Singh...one person who had always been at the receiving end of your pre-election campaign jokes!

I consume non-veg; my mother and husband doesn't. God knows when we'll have to battle a day when such crime happens within the families. To kill one you have loved, touched, shared, laughed with...for someone you have never seen, known or met...unlikely that you would ever do!
