HENSOLDT is further developing its “Kalaetron Attack” jamming system for use on board naval vessels.
The fully digital system has proven to be very effective in neutralizing air defence radars in several test campaigns. Now HENSOLDT is using the knowledge gained from land and airborne tests to develop a capability for the electronic protection of naval vessels.
“Radar-guided weapons pose a major threat to naval vessels at sea as well as on land and in the air,” said Roland Castor , Head of Airborne Electronic Warfare at HENSOLDT. “We are using the knowledge we have gained from the development of Kalaetron Attack to offer the German Navy a solution to close the capability gap in the self-protection of its ships.”
Rheinmetall has been awarded a contract by the UK MoD to supply the Trailblazer driver’s view system for the Warrior infantry fighting vehicle fleet.?
The Trailblazer cameras will be used as a Rear Safety Camera System (RSCS) for the Warrior vehicle, providing a key safety feature for the driver to recognise terrain and personnel at the rear of the vehicle.?

Great to see that DE&S identified our proposal as the best value offer in this competition – this will keep this important British Army capability current for the remainder of its in-service lifetime.”
Exail has signed a contract with RH Marine NETHERLANDS B.V to provide advanced inertial navigation systems and data distribution units for the Royal Netherlands and Belgian Navies’ Anti-Submarine Warfare Frigates (ASWF).

Bell Textron, a Textron company, is set to compete for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Speed and Runway Independent Technologies (SPRINT) X-Plane program.
The SPRINT program intends to design, build, and fly an X-Plane, an experimental aircraft to demonstrate enabling technologies and integrated concepts necessary for a transformational combination of aircraft speed and runway independence for the next generation of air mobility platforms.

Leidos has been awarded a new $32 million contract by the Marine Corps System Command to develop new defense radar systems.
The company will produce four Medium Range Air Defense Radar (MRADR) prototype systems within a two-year span, with the Leidos Dynetics team leading the development of the required sensors.
