Collaboration to Focus on Military Technology Development

霍尼韦尔 and Rheinmetall have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish strategic cooperation in various fields of technology.?

The two companies intend to cooperate on new visual systems and auxiliary power units for vehicles, among other things. Together, they intend to develop new visual systems that leverage the existing capabilities of the Honeywell 360 Display, a driver vision system that includes a variety of thermal imaging and daylight cameras distributed around the vehicle.?

Matthew Milas , President of Defense and Space, Honeywell Aerospace, commented; “We are excited to collaborate with Rheinmetall AG to bring our cutting-edge technology to support the missions of our allies across the world. New and existing programs will benefit from our joint development, production and sustainment efforts across an extensive list of global defense platforms.”

Successful Autonomous Flight Tests of Turbine-Powered VTOL Aircraft at U.S. Military Base

Mayman Aerospace has conducted successful flight tests of its RAZOR VTOL test bed at a military facility in Southern California.

The aircraft replicates the size and weight of the RAZOR P100, utilizing similar propulsion, engine gimballing, thrust vectoring, and flight control technologies.

This milestone, supported by Edge Group/SDF from the UAE and partially funded by the U.S. Department of Defense, is crucial to advancing autonomous operations in defense.

Founder and CEO David Mayman , said; “Our recent flight tests were a complete success, and we anticipate the P100 will surpass speeds of 450 knots.
