D365HR Ideas of the month July 2024

There was a time when Dataverse was just introduced and the Human Resources related data entities were being added one by one, a lot of it was missing??. But Microsoft product team did an amazing job of exposing almost all the data related to Human Resources as well as other domain from D365 to Dataverse??????

One of the key elements was Worker Position information, I noticed an interesting idea that the fields are all exposed but the primary position field is not updating on change from D365 to Dataverse. It does look minor but the impact of this issue in a complex multi position scenarion can be big and the integrations may fail because of that.

I am curious to test this out myself - but there can be a very simple solution of creating a power automate flow to solve the problem as suggested on the idea.

Also, I do agree with Damien Maspero that having this problem resolved as part of the core product can be super helpful to drive integration design more accurately.
