Financial dimensions can be created on the Financial dimensions page and then used as account segments in charts of accounts. If you built a financial dimension, you may give each financial dimension extra features using the Financial dimension values page.
Custom and entity-backed financial dimensions are the two categories that exist. Legal entities can share custom dimensions, and users can enter and update the values. Value definitions for entity-backed dimensions can be found elsewhere in the system, such as in the Customers or Stores entities.
