Hello there,?Dynamics 365 Lovers!
Are you ready for the new features under the?Jobs?module of?Dynamics 365 Business Central?
With the previous version of Business Central, you could only print a job quote report when the job was in status ‘quote,’ but the problem is you would need to print a job confirmation report when the job was in status ‘open,’ which was not feasible.
That is why in this?2022 release wave 1 plan, Microsoft has given one of our demands to have a?Report Selection – Job?page, where you would be able to print numerous documents for sales and purchases such as orders, quotes, invoices, and credit memos, even though it’s in “open” status. If you use the Jobs module to manage your projects, it allows you to choose which report object will be used to display job quotes.
Let’s now take a look in these new configurations.
First, search for?Report Selection – Job.
Report 1016 Job Quote?is the default setting, but you can alter it if you want.
If you want to print more than one report per document type, for example, you can add reports to the?Report Selection – Job page.
You can only use?Job Queue?as the value for the?Usage?field in this version.
Hope this will help.
Thank you for reading!
