D365BC Wave 1 2022: Payment Reconciliation Journal – Preview Posting enabled

Still waiting for a n feature under the Payment Reconciliation Journal of?Dynamics 365 Business Central?

Here it is!

Microsoft has added a new feature?in the?2022 release wave 1 plan?under the?Payment Reconciliation Journal?page in order to respond to our requests, since there has been a huge demand for a Preview Posting Option in the Payment Reconciliation Journal page. Microsoft, like all of its other breakthroughs, responded to our wishes and made things easier.

Through the?Preview Posting?feature, it is now incredibly simple for us to see a preview of what we are going to post and the ledger impact it will create. Another new feature is where we can view fields in the journal’s footer for debit and credit amounts.

Let’s now take a look in this new configurations.

First, search for?Payment Reconciliation Journals, then click?Checking.

Then, click?Posting Tab.

Under the Posting Tab, you will now see the?Preview Posting?feature.

When you click?Preview Posting, you’ll see what kind of entries will be made and what values will be posted, giving you a better understanding of what actually posting before you really post it.

On the other hand, the added field where you can?view the debit and credit amounts?can be located in the footer of the Payment Reconciliation Journal page.
