Hello there,?Dynamics 365 Lovers!
Have you heard about the new Microsoft Teams and?Dynamics 365 Business Central?integration?
As we all know, teams perform better when tasks and actions are accessible while working. Your team consists of several people, and we all use Microsoft Teams to schedule meetings, delegate work, and request specific information.
The?enhancement that Microsoft has made?in this?2022 release wave 1 plan, is that when you paste a link from Business Central to Microsoft Teams in a personal chat, or gourp chat your colleagues will be able to see?the preview of the information that is being shared in an elegant card. When that card is shared on a team’s channel meeting or in a group chat, it includes a detal infromation where the other party can see what they want to see or to edit what they wan to edit. They can make changes in the Microsoft Teams, just like in Business Central, without having to log in to the browser and go to Business Central. So it simplifies that kind of experience for the user while also assisting you in working together to keep it updated.
Let’s now take a look in these new configurations.
First, select the icon??and enter?Items?or simply click the?Items?option in the upper left corner of your screen.
Following that, you will see a list of Items, from which you can select the item you want to share with your teams. In this case, I went with the?BERLIN Guest Chair in Yellow.
After that, you’ll notice a share icon in the upper right corner of the?Item Card?page. If you click it, you can either share it with the Teams directly using the?Share to teams?button or copy the link using the?Copy link?button.

After copying the link, go to?Microsoft Teams?and paste it into your personal chat or channel. It should convert it into a?Item Card?and display a preview of the item you want to send or update.
When a colleague needs more information about an item, he can simply click the?Details?button on the card you sent, and a separate tab for business central within the?Microsoft Teams?will automatically pop-up.
So if you have circumstances where you need to work together, you can now use?Microsoft Teams?to work together, without having to log into a separate browser.
Hope this will help.

2 年Hello Jayson de Leon, great post. when we share a item card to Teams, it does not seems like you. We share just the link, no image. we share the link propertly but if we could have the shame impression that you have there will be much better. Is the any complement i need to implement at Microsoft Teams in order to get the same visual that you have. Many thanks for your help!!!!
