Hello there,?Dynamics 365 Lovers!
Are you ready for a new feature under the?Projects?module of?Dynamics 365 Business Central ?
In the previous?Jobs?module of Dynamics 365 Business Central, the only options accessible were on the bill side, where you could define what the bill was, the customer’s number, the name, and the entries.
However, in this?2022 Release Wave 1 feature , Microsoft has introduced a new area called “Sell-to,”?as well as other sections such as?Your Reference?and?External Document? No., which can be found under the?General Tab?of the?Jobs?page.
But wait, there’s more!
Because there’s a new option called?“Bill-to”?and?“Ship-to”?on the?Invoice and Shipping Tab?that helps you distinguish between the person who receives the service and the person who pays the bill.?Payment Terms Code?and?Payment Method Code?fields were also added.
Let’s now take a look in these new configurations.
First, search for?Jobs, then click on the first job on your screen.
Under the?General Tab?of the?Jobs?page, click?show more.
The?Sell-to?field groups will now appear.
It allows you to identify the client who will benefit from the project, which may or may not be the same as the firm that will pay for it.
Other new features, such as?Your Reference?and?External Document No., can be located the right side of the?General Tab.
When you navigate down, click?Invoice and Shipping Tab.
You can see here the?Bill-to?and?Ship-to?features. These options will allow you to identify the location of the work by selecting from a list of ship-to locations for the client, as well as provide information about external references.
Finally, while creating invoices, the fields for?Payment Terms Code?and?Payment Method Code?will come in handy.
Hope this will help.
Thank you for reading!
