D-LINE SCORE SCALE-UP HAT TRICK!

D-Line, the Newcastle based cable management specialists, have recently completed a third move in just under 18 months.

Explained founder Paul Ruddick ‘To cope with booming demands for our Safe-D range of surface fasteners, cable protectors & trunkings we’ve needed to scale up faster than we’d planned to!’.

Towards the end of 2020, D-Line moved into 25,000 sq ft in Louisville, Kentucky. ‘Made in UK’ D-Line products are shipped from Tyneside to USA, where D-Line staff in Louisville then despatch orders for electrical installations across fifty states plus Canada and Mexico.

In Spring 2021, D-Line set-up a new facility in Holland to receive goods bulk freighted from Newcastle. In the Rotterdam warehouse, the D-Line products are organised for deliveries to continental customers.

As Paul commented ‘All stakeholders appreciate the ‘quick install & look great’ benefits across the range. From repetitive custom, we know satisfied customers stay loyal to D-Line products, then we grow by attracting new specifications & requests. This snowballing effect has led D-Line to now occupy an additional 50,000 sq ft new facility in Newcastle’.

Indeed the company has come a long way from it’s launch in 2006 was inspired by the realisation that there existed unmet demands for easy-install and stylish solutions to fix and route surface mounted cables!

Having patented it’s D-shaped one-piece mini-trunkings, developing market-leading cable supports, and offering uniquely linkable floor cable protectors, it is easy to appreciate the strong ethos that supports D-Line’s expansion.
