Czechia's Annual Innovation Week 2023 Kicks Off Today

The 8th annual Innovation Week officially kicks off today at 6 pm in the DOX+ venue with the participation of leading representatives of Czechia and the presentation of the innovative education project "U?it je odvaha" (Learning is Courage). The main event will take place tomorrow, October 10th, in Prague, Radlická 333 (Kampus ?SOB). The event will focus on artificial intelligence and its impact on society and will include dozens of international and Czech experts, twelve discussion panels, around forty innovative technologies and solutions, and over 70 inspiring seminars. Until October 17th, related events will take place across Czechia.

Key Highlights of Innovation Week 2023

The Czech Innovation Week 2023 will feature over 50 esteemed speakers from the CEE region and overseas, who will discuss a wide range of current global topics in innovation across 11 conference panels such as artificial intelligence, gene editing, quantum computing, and connected devices. Notable figures include AI expert Abram Maldonado from OpenAI, creator of the first GPT-powered virtual avatar named Claira, Umberto Fugiglando from MIT's Space Bubbles project focusing on climate change mitigation, and Michael Hsieh from Stanford University discussing technology's impact on public interests, and experts from MIT and Stanford.

The program also features leading figures from the Czech innovation scene, covering diverse topics like AI, circular economy, venture capital, and more. Conference panels will explore AI's practical applications, climate protection, the future of work, healthcare innovation, mobility and transportation, education, diversity in tech, and well-being and mental health trends.

The event's second part includes an innovation fair showcasing over 60 groundbreaking solutions and visionary ideas poised to transform the world, including robotics, AI-driven health monitoring apps, and walking robots. Additionally, over 70 inspirational seminars will be conducted by influencers, architects, economists, and tech evangelists.
