Cylinder Cover Welding
By welding the corroded or worn sealing seat and sealing surface, we can restore the cylinder head to the standard size and upgrade the repair of the four stroke cylinder head to a higher level.
After using for a period of time, the cylinder head will be corroded by the groove of the exhaust seat, and the cooling water will start to leak to the engine, and the exhaust gas will enter the cooling system.
For mild corrosion, machining enlarges the grooves until the first, second, or even third enlargements, but eventually ends.
If handled properly, the repair area is liquid and gas sealed. We have successfully applied water pressures up to 12 bar (174 psi) to specimens repaired by metal stitching.
We have developed a procedure for welding grooves so that they can be restored to their original size again and have complete function.
