These days, more than ever, the corporate world is highly competitive and some of us can barely keep up. For the most ambitious of us, it takes a lot of compromise and tremendous courage to achieve the kind of success we long for in our careers.
To tell you the truth, my job as a brand mascot is to get people to know my brand, but it’s not easy when you are an introvert bumble bee! Think about it; why am I not talking to you in person rather than a bunch of paragraphs? Hmmm… There you have it!
Now, what can we both do to be better and more productive at our jobs? Yes; Cycling is the answer!
Having a nice ride to work on a beautiful cool air morning with some balanced Vitamin D from the sunrise surely puts a great smile on our faces and helps us start the day on the right note.
According to science, a cycling exercise allows our bodies to release hormones like serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins that help us reduce stress and anxiety. In this case, we give ourselves a boost in morale which in turn motivates us to perform our duties at full capacity throughout the day.
By pedaling to work, missed deadlines and procrastination will no longer be your daily companions.?

Furthermore, a number of studies prove that regular cycling increases mental sharpness and alertness while keeping our bodies physically fit and less prone to illness. This speeds up brain connections and allows us to maintain efficiency and productivity at the workplace.
Due to the nature of competition at work and the ever rising unemployment rate, we surely want to keep our jobs at all costs. If Covid19 has taught us anything, staying just above the red line in the pecking order does not cut it. In desperate times, you will be the first name on that exit list!
I think we could both agree that it is good to have an upper hand when it comes to reliability and taking less sick days in a calendar year. Employers like someone they can completely rely on!
Out of curiosity, have you noticed the traffic jams on the road these days? Gracious God… I am always late because of this, and it subjects me to a lot of problems with my employer! Quite frankly, I think I have a far better chance of being punctual if I ride myself a bicycle to work.

Anyway, as much as we put all our efforts and heart into our jobs, no one wants to experience a life plagued by chronic diseases during the retirement phase of our lives. On the other hand, very tight budgets and schedules does not offer all of us the chance to access sports facilities (gyms, yoga centers, etc.) on a regular basis.
