Cycling in Andalucia
Wild Atlantic Cycling ??♀?
A Cycle Tour Operator providing exciting and challenging holidays in beautifully scenic locations for Cyclists
Cycling in Andalucia in autumn is a feast for the senses. The variety of the landscape is truly amazing at harvest time. With a plethora of fruit & veg strewn out across the countryside you could be forgiven for snatching the odd pomegranate roadside to refuel.
We were thrilled to be interviewed by EPIC Road Rides to share our wonderful experiences putting this tour together: https://www.epicroadrides.com/cycling-blog/andalucia-cycling-tours-spain/
The roads are a joy to cycle on and the weather at this time of year generally provides lovely ambient conditions for cyclists wishing to explore this part of Spain without frying.
The 2 climbs that stand out for me on this route are Sierra Espu?a and Port Canalis d’Onil. Espu?a is a solid ‘kind’ climb with a gradient that doesn’t need the lowest gear and just keeps giving at every turn on the view front. It also has a tight exciting switchback descent that I love. Port Canalis d’Onil is great because it’s a tougher climb with a more challenging gradient.?
Our tour is fully supported and each day you'll follow pre-loaded GPX files. We recommend coffee & lunch stops where you can reunite with a daypack or you are free to choose alternative watering holes. In the evening you'll arrive at your hotel to find your bags waiting & a warm welcome. All of our hotels provide secure storage for bicycles and basic tools and cleaning materials to keep your trusty steed in mint condition for its daily challenge. We know how important it is to you that you have a trouble-free holiday and you can rely on us to ensure that everything is taken care of.
