Today is a very special day for the cybersecurity powerhouse that is Surfshark and Nord Security . We successfully obtained a $100M investment from a global growth investor Warburg Pincus LLC . And that’s not all — in just over a year, we also managed to double our company valuation from $1.6B to $3B. Let’s take a deeper look at this exciting news and what it means for us.

$100M investment secured for future growth and innovation

The investment comes from Warburg Pincus — their contribution is a significant stepping stone for further development of our products and services. It enables our joint company to expand our product lines, partner and collaborate with more NGOs, and continue our successful growth. It also means that we can provide our customers with an even better online security experience when using our services — and that’s our most important goal.?

Surfshark and Nord Security’s joint valuation — now at $3B

You may remember that Surfshark and Nord Security merged in February 2022. We did so to become stronger and better at facing the ever-changing challenges of the cybersecurity industry and deliver better products and services to our customers.?

Back then, our freshly merged company secured a $100M financial influx of outside capital following a $1.6B valuation. This investment allowed us to advance the development of our security and privacy solutions. We also hired more people, expanding Nord Security’s and Surfshark’s 1700-person team.

Now, Surfshark and Nord Security have over 2,000 employees and millions of users worldwide. With this new investment from Warburg Pincus, our joint company valuation grew again — and this time, it doubled. Our hard work and joint effort helped our valuation grow from $1.6B to $3B in just over a year.
