Questions You’ll Need To Answer To Pass Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials is ‘essential’ if you want to attract more clients for your business, and reassure them of your dedication to protecting their data.

But, if you want to pass Cyber Essentials, the questions you’re expected to answer aren’t as simple as you might think.

Here’s a selection to attempt:

1?? List the quantities of tablets and mobile devices that have access to your company data - you will need to know the make and model, what version of IOS Android they are on, and it must be up to date

2?? Do you have Software Firewalls enabled on all your devices? Most people will answer yes, but how would you know if it was disabled or not running?

3?? When not using multi-factor authentication which option are you using to protect your external service from brute force attacks?

4?? List the internet browser/s used across your organisation. And, do you know whether the versions you are using are up to date and supported?
