1. As part of the sanctions being imposed on Russia, the Unites States has announced that it plans to cut the country off from the GPS network.

2. During the speech of Ukrainian President Zelensky to the Israeli Knesset, there were multiple attempts to breach the Knesset systems. The attempts were all unsuccessful.

3. The hacking group LAPSUS$ announces that it hacked into the source code of Microsoft Azure DevOps. Microsoft responded by stating that “Microsoft does not rely on the confidentiality of the code as a means for Unified Threat Management, and viewing the source code does not increase risk.”

4. LAPSUS$ also announced this week that it breached OKTA’s systems. We recommend to cancel the option for OKTA Remote Support.

5. Investigators into the LAPSUS$ group attacks found that the hacker is apparently a 16 year old teen, who was arrested together with six other suspects, all between the ages of 16 to 21. They had accumulated over 14 million dollars from various ransomware attacks.

6. Hackers from Anonymous reported that they penetrated the system of the central bank of Russia, and published many pieces of information and confidential documents.?

The Israeli Internet Association reveals that about half of the population in Israel report that they or their relatives have experienced a cyber attack.

The Israeli Internet Association conducted a study in which it examined how many Israeli citizens have experienced cyber attack in the past year.

The findings show that 49% of the population responded that they or their acquaintances had experienced cyberbullying, and only 37% testified that they probably did not experience cyberbullying.

A high percentage of respondents claim that there is not enough information about cyber attacks and vulnerabilities, and a number of the respondents claimed that they do not know to whom they should report in case of cyber hacking.

When respondents were asked whether in the past year they had detected malware or a virus on their computer – most reported that they had not detected such a thing.
