MOVEit cyber incident - Sun Life U.S.?from Sun Life's website

As announced on the Sun Life website, Pension Benefit Information, LLC (known as PBI), one of the vendors that Sun Life works with, advised that one of its servers was accessed by an unauthorized third party as part of the global attack.

What does this mean?

Some U.S. personal member information that Sun Life shared with PBI to support their business has been accessed.

On the brighter side of things

PBI has advised Sun Life that it is currently not aware of any indications of identity theft or fraud in relation to this event.
