?? Contingent Workforce Risk Diagnostic Tool
Employees, contractors, temp workers, consultants, freelancers – with so many types of engagement, how do you know whether your worker is compliant with workforce legislation?
To assist organisations with assessing their risk profile and determining the kind of worker they have engaged, CXC has developed a contingent workforce risk diagnostic tool.
With a few easy questions, this tool will work out what kind of worker you’ve engaged, and whether you have any associated risks around co-employment, labour hire licensing, payroll tax and more. Try it out now HERE.
?? Ensuring the Safety of our Client’s Contingent Workforce
CXC’s Workforce Management relationship with this client spans over four years and covers up to 1,500 contractors across a variety of role types, engagement types and geographic locations.
As part of our duty of care to the contractors we manage, and to ensure that the contractors are able to perform efficiently and effectively, we endeavour to provide the safest working environment.
Prior to our engagement, this client’s contractors had limited operational WHS support, which presented a significant liability to the business.

However, keeping abreast of classification and compliance when workers are engaged through so many different models, in so many different countries, can bring its own set of challenges.

?? Independent Contractor Compliance – How US Tax Rates Compare to Other Countries
Globally, the US enjoys a lower personal tax burden than most countries, however our system is more complex especially when it comes to project-based, SOW, independent, self employed workers, sole traders and small businesses.?
A major reason for this is outside the US, countries traditionally have preferred their workers to be treated the same from a tax liability and also contribute equally to social programs.?
Currently, in the US, the seven tax brackets are 10 percent, 12 percent, 22 percent, 24 percent, 32 percent, 35 percent and 37 percent.
An in-country local expert that provides IC compliance solutions, can help navigate the complex issues and?take the compliance risk off?the hands of multinational companies.
