And in the world of futsal , Barcelona have appointed four-time Champions League winner Tino Pérez as head coach, who arrives from?Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai Quanqi Pioneer.
Returning to a club?where he scored so many goals, Ruud van Nistelrooy has joined Manchester United – along with fellow Dutch coach?René Hake – as assistant to Erik ten Hag . Van Nistelrooy had been linked with the vacant Burnley manager’s job, but that has now been filled by Scott Parker. Elsewhere,?Ipswich Town have appointed?Sone Aluko as first-team coach, and?Jason Euell has joined Cambridge United as assistant head coach.
Another addition?to Arne Slot’s?Liverpool staff was announced this week, with former Wolfsburg and Monaco coach Aaron Briggs coming in as elite development coach. Chelsea have appointed?Filipe Coelho as their Under-21s head coach, after his?Estoril Under-23s topped their league in Portugal . At Celtic ,?Adam Ashgar has confirmed his new role as Under-18s head coach, while?Blackburn have unveiled Adam Owen as their?head of technical development.
Former Australia international?Dario Vido?i??is the new head coach of Brighton Women , joining after two seasons with Melbourne City in the?women’s A-League. In Italy , Gianpiero Piovani has been appointed as the new manager of?Inter Femminile, while city rivals AC Milan have hired Dutch coach Suzanne Bakker, who joins from Ajax Women.
