The CV Question.

Did you know that approximately 60% of all submitted CV's end up in the recycling bin or waste basket. The reason for this is quite simple; most CV's are just not up to scratch. An employer will not waste time trying to read a poorly assembled CV, whether it be layout or grammar. A CV needs to make the employer 'want to read it', not by having silly borders, pictures and boxes, but by simply showing that a lot of care and attention has been used in putting the CV together and by listing sections in the relevant order. Not everyone can do this.

I was recently sent a CV that was 22 pages long and that was just the various jobs the author had done over the last 9 years !

I strongly recommend that all CV's / Resume's have a Skype ID for distance interviews. It is the way forward now.
