Look around you, what do you see? No, not in the way you just did!
I meant, look around you with your “digital” eyes. What is it you see?
A barrage of content everywhere you turn.
Just imagine that content isn’t digital!
They’d probably be one of the things to look out for before crossing the road.
So, the question is, how can you cut through the noise of infinite content to get your audiences’ attention?
If you’ve been using content marketing to drive your business, this question will resonate with you.
Let’s take a deep dive into how to get around this hurdle.
It is important to have clarity on why you have created the content and what you aim to achieve with it.
The?PURPOSE?must be?CLEAR!
Do you intend the content to gain visibility or to drive awareness? Or is it for generating leads?
Could it be that you want the content to educate, inform and enlighten your prospective client on an unseen problem that needs the solution you are selling?
The answer to these questions become the input that will shape your content. As the perspective you choose to go with is what will shape the message and define your tonality.
What that does for you as a brand is that it establishes you as a thought leader in your field over time.?
Positioning you as an expert such that your community is always looking forward to your next content.

Use these 5 Steps to help your content cut through the noise and get attention:
Focus on what is your key message. Keep it to one single thought. Doing that ensures clarity in the communication and it helps you ascertain the tonality for the content. Together these are what helps get attention.
2.?Know Your Client's Emotional & Immediate Business Need
Focus on understanding what's the business problem and resulting from that the emotional need your clients?are experiencing. Create content around those problems such that it provides education, highlights useful resources, and showcase the benefit your product or service delivers in solving those problems.
3.?Dominate One Social Channel Where Most Of Your Clients Are
A common mistake many a business makes is to be spread out, with the same message, across social media channels.
You don’t have to be everywhere as you’ll lose focus and chase everything. You only need to know which channel your clients prefer and use the most. Position yourself there and use the channel strengths to create reach for your content. Dominate your specialization in that channel to become one of the thought leaders in that segment.
4.?Have A Team To Help You
Great marketing is not an individual sport! It's a team game.
Getting it done all by yourself will be energy-draining. Get the right people to take care of your content. Where necessary outsource to content writers. It's an investment that will repay back many times whilst freeing your time up and giving you the content expertise, you need to grow your business.
5.?Be Clear On What To Measure
Every piece of content needs to have an objective. Be it awareness, visibility, traffic generation, or leads.
Each objective needs to have a specific performance criterion that can be measured. This helps you know what is going in the right direction and what needs adjustment.
