It's Valentine's day...

Happy Valentine's everyone!

Yes, I bought 2 chocolate cakes and a tub of chocolate brownies for my wife. And I said to her that I would bring her to Chickoks later in the day.

And she said, kung Chickoks lang ang beauty ko salamat nalang...

Ahaha tawa kami ng tawa.

Well, but that is not the topic for today.

Our topic for today is about cutting out the middleman.

So what do you mean by that?

I mean is when you do freelancing you can actually cut out the middleman, those agencies, partners, people who are into business of hiring labor for profit.

Those agencies look for clients and then outsource their work to their henchmen in some Third World Countries.

Thats why I call it Middleman.

They are the ones who are getting richer and richer as the days go by.

No office cost, no equipment cost, no benefit cost.

Their only cost is to give their Freelancers a small size of the carrot and then that's it.

But you know what, you can actually cut the middleman for life.

And if you're just starting you may or may not go the middleman route.

All you need to do is to build your own world and decide that you're going to do it on your own.

It was not the best way, and it's sure a long way road to go...

But it's the road that gives the most returns.

All you need to do is to set it up, and then it will create a fortune for you.

Just like what I did.

I got clients by building my own world.

Today, I don't have the hardships of looking for clients, I don't need to show them my resume, my portfolios, no interviews, no claiming I'm not the best.

And the best thing about this is, I have no obligations to help them, I have the freedom to choose whom I'm going to be working with.

I have the freedom to choose my rate.

My timezone, my team, my way of doing things.

Because why?

Because they are in my world.
