In this week’s ads, we tap into the power of the mildly pleasurable. We show some ads that are cute, and some that depict satisfying transformations. Without further ado, let’s dive in.
**
In this ad, an education app takes a different approach to engaging parents. The creative uses cute graphics to emphasize important developmental aspects, like practicing gratitude. The messaging also talks about incorporating small actions in daily life, rather than making a big effort or a wholesale change.
**
Memes are the zeitgeist of the digital generation, because they are cute, funny, and relatable. This ad visually captures a visceral feeling or emotion that couldn’t otherwise be expressed so succinctly. And really, you can’t go wrong with cute pictures of dogs.
???So: can you use a cute meme or image to encapsulate a user’s state of mind?
**
???Gentle toilet humor + cats = a winning recipe for the Internet.
Someone once observed that we carry the knowledge of the world in our pockets, but use that resource to watch cat videos. They’re not wrong. This ad shows the predicament of the cat that is the protagonist.

Few joys match that of dislodging something stuck in your mouth - and this ad shows and appeals to this oddly satisfying feeling, by portraying screws, stones, and the odd cavity that needs to be filled.
**
From dislodging crumbs in your teeth to pimple-popping: a different kind of odd satisfaction in this ad.
**
This is another oddly, weirdly satisfying video, portraying the satisfaction of an eye being cleaned - and is very similar to the previous video.

That’s all for this edition of the Daily Ad. We’ll be back with more curated inspiration next week!
Cheers -
