Cut Trees Changed the Life

I had been given the picture below to write a story. This is what I wrote and now sharing here for my people on LinkedIn:

Today I'll tell you a story which is 5000 years ago and right there was a kingdom in region of haryana where there was a king called Gatooth.?

Gatooth was ruling his kingdom with a very average authority and the people were normal- they will neither happy nor ha dany sort o anxiety about the same. Reactions were mixed!?

Gatooth ruled the kingdom well but sometimes he was bit cocky.?Depending upon time his cocky mindset always gets exhibited to its subject.?

One such incident happened when Gatood had 1 son and he used to love him so much. One day when his son was roaming in the jungle for hunting a tree fell down on the chariot and his son just got beneath that tree trunk and died on the spot. Even the soldiers could do nothing!

The king was very touched by the incident. He punished the soldiers. Besides, he was very very much angry about the whole jungle. I don't know why but he was planning inside his mind to cut all the trees in his jungle without knowing the actual result that may occur due to this. He kept insisting that he will do this for sure

The D-day came just after completing the funeral ceremony of his son. On the next day he ordered his ministers to cut all the trees in the kingdom and nobody could resist him because of his anguish command.?

?Since the ministers could do nothing about this other they had to just go ahead with this. Reluctantly they ordered all the soldiers to go and proceed cutting all the trees in his kingdom and the soldiers went by the words and juat initiated cutting the trees.?

After a duration of 2 months the whole kingdom was deforested. There was no vegetation that could be seen around the whole kingdom except the shrubs and crops.

The subjects were unhappy with what was happening in their kingdom but hail the ego of the king, it was satisfied.?

This whole incident has happened 5000 years ago when there was not so much of scientific development and the whole subject of the kingdom world treating trees with just aesthetics and the king was also unknown to the living benefits of the trees. But a fortune happened!

Soon after a duration of one month, the whole kingdom trees were cut down some?And the subjects were unhappy. Some of the people noticed some germination of saplings among the cut trunk of the trees.?

After seeing such a germination the king was anxious (his vanity was on stake) and so much of his treasure was emptied just for completing this proud vanity of his but when he has seen such tenacity from the cut trees he was surprised and asked some of the scholars about what is happening with all the effects.

No one was actually able to deduct the whole meaning of this incident to the king among almost all the scholars in the kingdom of the king. But then came one of The unknown scholars from the kingdom named AshvaBahu.?

AshwaBahu was the Pandit of the king and was told to explain the incident to the king and what went wrong.?He explained to the king that everything that happens to us is known to happen by NIYATI or the destiny whatever we can tell. Since we have no control over our destiny we have to bear it and after the incident has happened the only thing which remains in our control is us ourselves and our attitude.

"We should try to replicate the attitude of these cut trees", the pandit told.?Like anything can happen to you without you being involved in any particular activity directly. The thing for which you are being finished might be caused by some another thing happening around and you might not be directly responsible for that. So you have no control over the things happening to you.?

Again, what remains in our control is what we you after that incident of a destiny like the trees were tenacious to regrow and fill the whole kingdom again with vegetation in spite of being cut with so much cruelty.

Dear Gatooth..?You should also learn from this attitude of the trees when your Son you could have searched for some another options that might happen because your dear things are born to lost, the day you get it.??

The king had his eyes down and the regerminated trees taught the king a lesson of life. The king was?Changed after this incident and?the whole perspective of the king now became like finding solution in whatever the condition he might face Instead of complaining about the same and trying to quench the thirst of his vanity!

The whole normally living kingdom was bestowed with a changed king after this incident. The king was transformed with a changed mentality of finding solutions of the things inflicted upon him.?
