• Drive clarity:?You and your team should be crystal clear on your vision, your purpose, your values and your immediate priorities. There should be no ambiguity on who owns what, what each person’s role is, and and everyone should be able to rattle these off.?
• Over-communicate clarity:?Repeat these elements (vision, purpose, values, priorities) to your entire company - again, and again. And again.?Don’t delegate this communication, your employees need to hear this from you. Many times. That’s how they know it’s truly important, rising above the rest of the noise.?
• Reinforce it all through human systems:?Align how you hire, evaluate, develop, recognize and reward your talent to your values and performance needs. Where gaps are unsurmountable, have the courage to call this out and part ways - with kindness and clarity.?
