Cut The Cords.
We need to let go to move forward.
Imagine your life as a hot air balloon, and you are the pilot aiming to have adventures exploring the world. To rise higher and navigate freely, you need to release the sandbags that are weighing the balloon down.
These sandbags represent old habits, negative relationships, past traumas, or anything else that you know you are holding on to.
As you cut the cords that tie these sandbags to your balloon, you start to ascend, and although a little bumpy at first, you find the smooth lift and gain the freedom to travel where the wind takes you.
Each cord you cut represents a deliberate choice to let go of something that no longer serves you, allowing you to embrace new opportunities and experiences with less resistance and greater buoyancy.
A tip to letting go consistently in life is to have a quarterly reflection on what you’ve let go of and how it has benefitted your progress, as well as reflect on what you now need to let go of to keep moving forward.
