Trick shots galore at Lord's Cricket Ground (?? Lucy Le Lièvre)

When it comes to cricket, the women's game is Next Level ??

This project was our first venture into the sport. Our goal? Craft a bold and characterful edit to build hype for next month's much-anticipated England vs New Zealand game at Lord's.

With a tight window shooting a sport we'd never captured before, our creative approach had to let the athlete's skills shine (more on that on the blog). From scoping out the location to figuring out what trick shots we could pull off, we had to plan every detail carefully to make the most of our limited time with the team.

Our film provides fans with an exclusive look at Lord's, showcasing the athletes to keep the content credible to women's cricket. Because, like everything we make, when the content is true to the athletes, it's true to the audience.

New work with SCOR: Play the Mountains ??

Archive footage + playful illustrations = all-out MTB joy

Our work with SCOR is all about revisiting why we fell in love with bikes in the first place ??

Already sitting on a goldmine of ambassador content, SCOR wanted to bring together its roster of global athletes and make an impact with the footage—all while staying true to its fun-first vibe ????

By leveraging existing videos and stills and adding our Cut Media magic, we crafted an impactful hero film to engage their audience and keep the SCOR brand top-of-mind all year.

How limitations can be a creative tool ??

One tiny bike launch, one shedload of possibilities

Limitations. Unwanted obstacles, right? ??

Budget cuts? Athlete time sliced from a day to an hour? Your choice of kit on another shoot halfway across the planet?

Working in the wild world of sports content, we’ve dealt with these challenges before. But limitations don’t have to be bad news; they could even be the key to unlocking your creative potential.

At Cut Media , we’ve seen how limitations can actually push our work to even greater heights. Head to the blog to learn how we use limitations to our advantage ??

An ode to the bike commute ??

Celebrating the joys and benefits of active travel with Endura back in 2019

Stu shared his thoughts on active travel last week, and it sparked quite a discussion among fellow LinkedIn transit enthusiasts ??

All the commuting love took us back to a small, locally shot project for Endura featuring a few of their ambassadors and a voiceover by a staff member—subtle graphic titles throughout, with a powerful, lasting message.

Watch the campaign video here, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
