Customize Life!

A day ago, I started writing this blog (Yes, This IS a Flashback!), I am helping one of my friend in his blog, and all of a sudden he tells me, “Why don’t you try blogging!”.  That’s where my thoughts are fully concentrated on that one question.

You know it happens often that a single moment or some words by someone gives you a kick and off you go! You are all set to go ahead with it and do something that you haven’t thought of doing before. I wonder if that’s how people get inspired to do new things.

Let me tell you a story. A story of a Girl living in a metro city. This girl is just like any other in the city. Like a girl next door. So how do I describe this girl?? The one who is stucked up in her routine life and trying to make a difference every single day. Let’s peep into her normal day. Day starting with an enthusiastic thought of starting a new day and a hope of doing something different. Of course, by this time, she already has this amazing device in her hand that somewhere crosses her inspiring thoughts. Flipping through all the sites where she thinks that everyone is waiting for her to come online. And Ahaaaa.. There are just a few ”GOOD MORNING!”  messages waiting for her. And then wishing a few (REAL few) close friends a good morning.. Oh no..”I AM RUNNING LATE”. The next expression! Rushing to her daily workout. Then off she goes to her second home, “WORKPLACE”. Taking orders, making a to-do list, meetings, playing with numbers, meeting different people and challenges, checking her phone (how can we forget that!), flipping through the bunch of papers, giving random smiles, she ends 8-9 long hours in the office. There are few more hours left to end the day which she chooses to end with a nice dinner and if time allows spending it with her family. And that’s it! That’s the end of the day! And the story as well.

No excitement and a monotonous routine. Now this girl is just like many other millions of people existing on the planet earth. Yes, I use the word exist because these people have successfully replaced the word “Life” with “Existence”. But WHY? I think this might be the major reason for most of the nervous breakdown that people suffer from. I am sure that like this girl many of the people might have challenges to face. But why make those challenges an excuse to not LIVE our own good life. Is this routine that we want our whole life? Of course, not! Life is not just about earning money and living a luxurious responsible time. We don’t live for others or society. Then why to get bound into those chains of society and put your wishes and dreams in a locked Box. And that’s just not enough! These people also throw the keys that can open the box!! How silly…!

After thinking this much question arises, HOW? I would like to ask those who are reading this blog, how do this get herself out of these chains. There is no big Rocket science in it or a deep psychological theory. I think all we need to do is start from small things that can give us some happiness or a change or break from our routine.

Finding that one or more element that can bring a small amount of change in daily routine. It can be a random smile to a stranger while going to work, reading your favorite author, explore a new place in town, try a new spice, hang out with your friends, contact your old friends.

Never refrain to learn something new. They say it’s never too late to learn. Try doing new things. It may be a new sport, trying out a different adventure, learn photography, it can be anything depending upon one’s interest. Being a master in everything is not mandatory.

Not being too hard on our own self. Most of the time it is our own self that underestimates us to live life to the fullest. Pressuring yourself too much to cope up with everyone around is not a viable option. It’s OK to not earn the same amount of money as someone else does. It’s fine not to be a Fashion Diva or a style icon or have a perfect figure. What I feel is appreciating our own self for what we are can be a great help to keep on going.

Finding inspiration. There are ample of people or incidents that can give us inspiration to grow and move further in your life. Find it and make it your reason to boost up. (As I got one to write blogs)

Be Grateful and never lose Hope.  Hope! A four-letter word that can give life to a dying person too. Everyone has a reason to be grateful for what they have.

These are the things that I personally have experienced and tried to change my monotonous routine to an exciting one. Hope you agree with it! If you feel I am missing anything here? Let me know in the comments and I'll add it in my next blog! Also let me know if you guys liked it or not. Your response will be my inspiration and critic for my next blog.

Adios ??
