What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy the diversity of tasks and projects. It keeps me engaged and gives me the opportunity to learn and interact with different people and divisions within and outside of the company.
How do you create positive customer experiences?
I believe in communication, making sure that I acknowledge the request while promptly and actively working on resolutions.
What are the biggest challenges you face in the workplace?
While it excites me to learn about the flood insurance world, coming from a different background, I am aware that I still have much more to learn - especially in the underwriting world. Everyday, I am more and more impressed and intrigued by the work our underwriters do.
What is your favorite part of working with your team at TMH?
The atmosphere of collaboration, inclusion, and learning from people that I work with. I appreciate that TMH promotes a healthy and active work life balance. It gives me more opportunities to be present with my family.
As someone with client-facing experience, what can others at TMH learn from you?
Creating rapport and finding little things in common is a great way to break the ice and helps create a safe welcoming space. Making sure to follow up, even when you’re still working on the request, makes people feel that you care.
