Use the time of year to your advantage.?
This time of year is a great excuse to show customer appreciation. Distribute end-of-year gifts to customers with a personal note of appreciation. Take a few minutes to catch up, build a stronger connection, and enjoy a light moment while thanking the people who trust your insurance agency.?
Plan ahead.?
Call your customers if your schedule doesn’t allow for many in-person meetings this time of year. Thank them for choosing you as their insurance agency, and ask them what they hope to see in the new year. This question makes them feel valued as a customer, and it might help you get ahead on a conversation they were already planning for the new year.?
Be honest.?
When speaking with your customers, don’t overpromise and underdeliver. Unless a customer needs urgent assistance, allow yourself some extra time. There is a good chance “calling their insurance company” was on their end-of-year list of items to check off their list, and they will appreciate the genuine honesty.?
