Those businesses that are attentive to growth tend to develop revenue slowly. These businesses use either cold calling, advertising, promotion, website and may other factors that either a) show no competitive differentiation or b) do not scale the business. If you desire growth and I mean larger growth here are three things to assist your business today!
1. Public Relations – The use of public relations especially for product based business can reap huge growth rewards. There is nothing better than having the media as advocate and creating celebrity status for your product.
2. Thought Leadership – you have a product or a service. It is a great product or service and you developed this not only as a passion but because you sought to resolve a problem. However, the world does not know how you resolve the issue. You need to develop a platform that makes you the expert in your field. It is important that you develop a community with your inspirational thoughts on problem resolution.
3. Results – Review all of your inbound and outbound marketing techniques and create key performance metrics. Kill all of the activities that yield no results. Stop using Murphey’s Law to run your business. Work smarter – not harder!
Growth is your essential element. And, if you are not concentrated on growth daily your vision, your dream, your future will quickly evaporate. You must use techniques that are different from others and you must measure items that work and those that do not. Start creating methods that help you create customers like a magnet.
