Why do people always talk about customer service as if it is something we should just intuitively know? Is is really that easy and is it really so important? Walmart and Sam’s Club founder, Sam Walton used to say, “There is one boss: the customer, and she can fire everybody in the company, from the chairman on down, simply by spending her money elsewhere.” Data show that satisfied customers are better to work with, more profitable and they make us look better to our bosses. Sounds like a win-win doesn’t it?
